Scent of Roses is an original oil on canvas inspired by quiet, sunlit moments in a blooming garden. I wanted to capture the feeling of stepping away from daily life — sitting down with a cup of tea, surrounded by the scent of fresh roses, warmth, and peace. The empty chair, hat, and book suggest a gentle human presence and invite the viewer to imagine their own moment in this space.
I chose oil paint for its richness and ability to create depth, light, and texture. Using layered brushwork, I emphasized the softness of petals, the woven structure of the chair, and the glow of sunlight filtering through greenery.
My goal is for viewers to feel calm, comfort, and a sense of romantic escape into nature.
